I've been thinking about moving my tech startup to a new city for tax reasons. Austin, TX seems like a good place for entrepreneurs with lots of venture capital deals and no state income tax according to a few articles I read. Has anyone here started a business there? Maybe you could recommend some other cities in different states as well?

Austin sounds awesome! My friend moved there last year and loves the vibe, an having no income tax must really help with cash flow. Dallas also offers great funding options, I think. Same tax benefits as Austin. Plus the networking scene is pretty strong. Could be a solid alternative if Austin's getting too crowded.

Seattle is amazing for startups too, especially tech. They have a lot of VC funding and no state income tax, plus there are a lot of entrepreneur community events that are helpful for networking.Maybe you could recommend some other cities in different states as well?
I've heard that Miami is also killing it right now. No income tax and competitive SBA funding. The VC scene is growing, and there are groups like Endeavor Miami that really support scaling businesses. The weather is a bonus!

Columbus and Cleveland in Ohio are great for startups with decent VC deals and low living costs. Ohio's income tax isn’t the best, but it's manageable. Columbus is way cheaper to live in compared to places like San Francisco, but the innovation scene there is really growing, and over $1 billion in SBA funding is nothing to sneeze at.
As an Austin-based company myself, I can vouch for how supportive the community is here. Tons of resources and events for entrepreneurs.
